Your problem isn’t caused by the update either, giving you compatibility after the update is an issue, it should be the plugin. It’s better to identify and fix the problems caused by updating WordPress rather than rolling back. While a rollback may temporarily get things back to normal, in the long run it’s best to keep WordPress up to date.
